Fueling up car - how much how often
Discussion
I run my tank between full and half empty. You never know when you might need to get somewhere in an emergency, and I never set off on a journey if I haven't got enough fuel to get back home without worrying about finding a filling station.
My other half runs hers between full and fuel light empty and is always panicking about running out.

I get 450 ish miles to a tank and normally fill up when it's telling me there's 20-30 miles range left.
That's once every two to three weeks if I don't do any longer trips.
Same here. Although I did play fuel light bingo last week as I couldn't be arsed to sit in the massive line. That's once every two to three weeks if I don't do any longer trips.
Got a bit twitchy when I went to zero.
Full down to 100km indicated left.... unless I am trying to do a long journey in one! Managed to get home on 1 tank (Zeebrugge to Nyon,Switzerland) after Christmas with the computer giving up on range on the last 1km downhill home.

I tend to fill mine up the first time I pass a petrol station after it's gone below 50%; or if the gauge gets down to the point where it's not reading I'll go out of my way to drive to one. The latter is more common than the former, there's no petrol station on my commute.
I don't think I've ever put petrol into a car I own and not filled it up to the brim.

Depends on which car I'm driving. Our Fiesta runabout can go for three months between fill ups as it never goes out of town and I can safely run it after the light comes on knowing there's a filling station nearby.
My Riley is topped up just about every time it goes out as its fuel gauge has never worked and it has a small tank and pathetic range of around 200 miles - there's always a can of fuel in its boot.
My A8... if I let the fuel light come on it's been known to trip the £99 pump maximum before it's full so I tend to fuel it when it gets to a quarter full.
All three are always topped up, never part-filled.
