I searched Top Gear Street View to no results, so I'm guessing this is new to the forum...

You can street view the track.
Turns out Google Street View cars are pretty quick !

What was your time? I did it in about 2:40 but was getting left button fade on my mouse in the last couple of left handers.

Is that the Top Gear reasonably-priced Astra parked by the start/finish line too?

Well it does look to have a roll cage fitted, so it could well be

Weirdly the registration of the SLS doesn't return anything on the various car check websites.

You used to be able to "drive" round the test track at Hethel on it too. Just checked and that doesn't seem to work now but you can still have a nose round the factory on it.

I think it's one of Mercedes UK's 'model' plates - they usually seem to be the model number (in this case 197) followed by MBC (presumably for Mercedes Benz Cars).
