I know they've got a reputation and come up on here often, I've just seen they're in the news -

Nothing we didn't know before - they will carry on! They have amazing stock of modern classics that always crop up when I'm browsing.

I don't know who in their right mind would buy a supercar from a dealer that operates out of a multi-storey car park and has a massive range of stock which also includes £500 wrecks!

I found the fact that Halfords had been fined 40k for shoddy practices more shocking.(in the same publication)

Isn't it the rumour that Motorhub is a money laundering front? Those £500 wrecks "sell" for £15,000, etc. etc.

Police don't care to dig a little deeper?

My guess is the £50,000 fine is peanuts compared to what's flowing through that business legally and illegally.

Got to invest your drug money somewhere, even if it is car parks and supercars...

I have heard so very many stories of shady practices by this company, its basically common knowledge on most forums they are to be avoided.

Hmm...was close to going there to view a Gallardo. Sounds like a potential bullet dodge.

They should just be shut down how they have been getting away with it for so long I'll never know, if you walk round the place even without knowing anything about them, everything says walk or even better run away.....

I saw a Rolls Royce in there with literally bullet holes in the front and rear screen. It amazes me people ever buy things there.

Me and mate are gonna go up there soon for a look around, fancy a laugh. I know some of the imports they have for sale are proper dodgy.

Being discussed here too, but PH have removed the thread. I suspect they'll do the same to this one too as Motorhub are an advertiser here.

I had a strange encounter with them ages and ages ago. They brought in loads of grey imports and had some very nice cars, I had enquired about a Legnum VR24 in purple a really nice spec fresh import. Anyway I phoned and got all details and said I'd like to travel up from Portsmouth to test drive it to which the salesman said oh you can't test drive it before buying it. I said are you serious to which he replied yes, needless to say I didn't go ahead.
I heard through various forums that they were well dodgy so I guess I was lucky, sounds like they haven't changed.

Many years ago before 200sx's were the drifters car of choice, my friend wanted to join me in ownership of one and had earmarked an imported Silvia at KTC, now known as Motorhub.

We got a lift up there and had a look round the Silvia which could only be described as ropey at best, he was desperate to spend his money though and after looking around the rest of their stock he settled on an MR2 turbo. We started it up, had a quick look round it, i noted the PowerFC. Defi gauges and some other expensive tuning items and suggested that its probably had a fair bit of money spent on it.

It was up for £5k, I said lets take it out for a test drive....my mate disappears into the office and then 10 mins later comes out and says that hes bought it! eek

So in we hop, ready for the 120 mile drive back home, massive turbo whistling behind my head, I thought i might as well go through all the paperwork now my mate has purchased it. Turns out it was a fully forged, GT35r equipped beast, running a safe 380bhp.

It actually ended up being a really good car and was a lot of fun driving up to Perth to pick up one of my RX7's.

Luck more than judgement in this case

If the Police did any kind of digging in that whole area, Keighley, Dewsbury and Bradford would become ghost towns overnight. There must be a reason they are never investigated...

Having your own multi storey is extremely cool. Beyond that it sounds like you're better off sending your dog down the car auctions with some cash stuffed in its collar while you stay at home getting drunk.

I just wouldn't buy a car if the location was Keighley regardless of vendor

Am I right in thinking these were Keighley Trade Centre? I vaguely recall some very poor and dodgy imports classed as "KTC cars"
