Selling an old car that has lots of gadgets and toys on that I won’t be able to remember

Is there a site where you can put in the reg and it’ll tell you the spec, like folding mirrors , mp3, heated seats, gear box etc

I doubt there's a generic site which covers multiple manufacturers as the info would be far too specific. I know you can get the full spec for Ford's off their Etis website, not sure if other manufacturers have a similar system? Might be worth asking on a dedicated forum*?

(* unless the car in question is a Ford, in which case https://www.etis.ford.com/home/loginForm.dowink )

ETIS used to be great, until they made it authorised users only. And you’ll probably guess that I’m not an authorised user.

I keep hearing that, but I can still log in and view specs, etc, with no issues...?

Might seem a bit weird but try www.carsales.com.au - It’s Australian Auto trader so any cars are Australian spec but it’s pretty good at the basics of what you’re asking

It’s very good for mechanical specs and dimensions though

That’s the bit I can’t do. I’m not an Independent Operator.

Doesn't Parkers have a tool that allows you to pick a specific trim level?

Alternatively, ignore everything, write 3 features in the advert then hit caps lock and describe how you've been a family run business for 30 years and finance is guaranteed!

If you're going to use Carsales, you may as well go straight to the source, redbook.com.au.

Bear in mind that some of the details may not be accurate for the UK as manufacturers change specifications for Australia (most notably trim levels and downtuning) as well as some models not being available in Oz (I.E. most city cars like the Aygo).

How strange. When I enter a registration or VIN, all it will give me is Outstanding Field Service Actions on the left (on desktop) and the right shows an image of a car of the same make and the following on the left:

Focus 2011-2015, 1.6L Duratorq CR TC (115PS) - DV6, Panther Black (Metallic)
VIN Number: WF*******************

It used to list the build spec.

Odd. When I log in I can see the full spec, etc:

Previous road tests available on line will give specs, also Honest John though increasingly on there you have to put up with ads and cookies springing up.
