If they're anyway to being a decent business they will arrange to take the car back in to again attempt to rectify the problem with no further payment from you. (Usual caveats about what you actually asked them to fix, did they diagnose the problem or you etc)
If they don't you'd need to escalate it within the company (Service Manager / Dealer Principle etc).

so its a case of morals, but by law they dont have to fix it again for free?if they for example buy a part then fit , which doesnt resolve the issue then they lose money right

It depends on what instructions you have given the garage.if they for example buy a part then fit , which doesnt resolve the issue then they lose money right
In general they will do the most obvious fault and see what happens.
I am sure you could instruct a garage to give you a price to rectify a problem for a fixed price, it is likely to be huge to cover all eventualities.
For instance you take your car in as it is loosing a little coolant, they notice a small coolant stain on the radiator, this is a fairly simple and low cost job on most cars. They will likely change this first as it eliminates the most obvious cause. They will have given you a price to change the radiator, not eliminate the coolant loss.
In one car I can think of there is a "hose from hell," that requires the engine to be removed, turbo removed etc to access it. They would not in normal circumstances price a radiator replacement to cover potentially having to remove the engine.
I've had vast experience of this sadly.
Some will do the right thing and have the car back in. Then look at the costs acknowledging they didn't get it right first time.
But they're the minority.
Most will say that the part they replaced was faulty, so you still have other faulty parts.
I avoid main dealers now, I could write pages of bad experiences, and some really funny things their service advisers have said to me.
Find a local independent for your brand, chances are they'll have all the master technicians that left the main dealers, and they care much more about their local reputation. Also they're far more likely to fix the fault first time as you'll generally have more time experienced technicians.
Out of 10 technicians in a main dealership there might be only two highly trained master techs?
And they'll only get to see your car after a couple of failed attempts from their lesser trained techs.
Sorry to be negative, but if I added up all the unnecessary bills I've had from main dealers over the years, I'd have enough to buy myself a very nice car.
