Aside from WBAC, Evans Halshaw, what other other companies will buy and preferably collect cars which have finance owing on them?
Don't want to do a private sale as too much hassle with test drives and potentially attracting unwanted buyers and not looking to part exchange it as looking for a business lease now.

Have seen a couple of other place but they are to far away.

I would imagine if you're buying a car from them, any dealership will, then they settle the finance and give you the balance.

If you're just selling, I guess it depends on how good a deal you're giving them Vs the hassle.

Try an independent garage. Ive sold cars to them in the past for more money than the likes of WBAC. None had finance, but I cant see that being too much of a stumbling block.

That's what I usually do but this time I'm going down the businees lease route rather than pcp so not actually buying another car.

Stick it on Wizzle, dealers bid for your car and would be able to deal with the finance

Do they collect if they're miles away though?

Buying and selling a car with finance is no big deal, I have bought (as a private buyer) a number of cars over the years with outstanding finance.

A bit more tricky if the finance owing is more than the value of the car. (Negative equity)

Getting someone to collect it will make it a bit harder, most of the buying companies have local agents, so not to far to drop it off.

Most local car dealers will

Obviously it depends upon the car and price

It's a bit more specialst (RS model) so would make it a bit harder to sell on without a part exchange I'm guessing?

No it just means you have to target the sellers you approach.

RS as in Audi or Ford ?

There are plenty of marque specialists who will buy

I had a fancy Audi a few years back and I rang a few dealer groups as well as Indies and just asked to speak to the buyer

Described it and they said whether they were interested or not

Sold it to an Audi dealer for more than the px I was offered .. they came and collected it and settled the finance

If I remember rightly the classifieds in the Sunday times motoring section had wanted’s and contact numbers for the buyers

You don't necessarily need a specialist, just contact some local traders. That way you also wont have the issue of distance and you can just drop it off.

If it's an Audi RS, then try Just Audi VW in Lincoln, I note you're in Lincs from your profile.
We've been to look at a car there and this might be right up their street.
If it's a Ford RS, then try facebook wink
