94V in one country 94H in another, are these the same tyres?
Discussion
I find myself in France needing one of these tyres (I have one that is virtually new). In the UK it is rated 94V, but only in the UK. I have found it in France but only as a 94H.
The branding, model name and tread are identical. Is it possible that it gets a different speed rating in Europe? I'd rather not mix and match speed ratings on the drive wheels.

UK: https://www.tyres-outlet.co.uk/product/riken/snowt...
Am I OK to mix and match these or shall I just get a pair?
Just to caveat, I know this is likely a dumb question!

As long as they are the same size/profile across an axle, I'm pretty sure you can run whatever you want on each wheel, even one winter and one summer tyre if you like having 'interesting' handling.
The V and H variants are the same tyre but different speed ratings - many tyres have versions with different speed ratings but which look identical.
Mixing an H and a V should be fine if you have no other option - H is rated good for 130mph, V for 149mph, so unless your journey is likely to involve travelling between 131 and 149mph, you'll be fine
As for whether there's any difference in compound, handling, grip... without doing a back-to-back test you'll never know.
On that basis, you could get the H and get a V when you get home (then sell the H on eBay or whatever) or buy two Hs now, put the V in the garage, and then buy another V when you change those tyres due to wear. (Assuming you go through tyres pretty quickly, rather than having 5-years-old tyres.)
