abandoned car 2012 plate

theres a car near my house, its getting vandalised because its been left there a long time,
I got the goverment form and filled it in plus a fee for £2.50, no joy it came back, is there any other way to find owners address ?

What do you hope to achieve by finding the owners address?

Can't you report to the council? And could it possibly have a small fuel leak?

I'd imagine with that can that the engine is shot (probably run without oil) or major electric issue or both!

I'm looking out of my office window at a scooter which has been there at least since I started working in this location almost 2 years ago. There's a chain on the front wheel but it's not chained to anything else. The scooter has been picked up and moved a few times as it was in the way of some scaffolding work, but despite it sometimes being completely covered in yellow parking ticket envelopes, which gradually fall off until the next time the wardens blitz it, it just sits there. Must have had hundreds of tickets issued/attached.

Whilst on the one hand I'm amazed it's still there, it also shows that the local authority (well, Islington Council anyway) have no interest at all in removing abandoned vehicles. Whether you would get anywhere trying to appropriate it, I have no idea.

,Our old neighbours had a habit of not taxing insuring cars etc.

They’d then get dumped round the corner waiting to be fixed or whatever, no one ever seemed interested, but if you told 101 kids were trying to start them, they soon got moved

We had a 2015 S class 350d parked outside work tarted up to look like an s63, it had no insurance MOT or tax.
Contacted the council and they came and towed it away.
