Just a quick Q. I'm seeking a quote to have a car (Rover 416 estate), brought from Liskeard, to Marple, South Manchester.

Any recommendations/caveats?

So what do you want him to do? Pay his own diesel and deliver it out of the goodness of his own heart, or earn a living? FFS, this is why most areas of road transport are fked! My V8 Scanias get between 7- 9 mpg when running at 65t..

I think you'll be safe with a Rover 416 but bear in mind some cars have been picked up after a shiply quote never to be seen again , also if they turn up with a land rover and trailer it'll need a tachograph, van and trailer needs a tachograph and an operators licence.

if they get stopped by DVSA without your car could be offloaded and left where they stop it.
