Have you seen your current or old car on Street View?

I was looking at some of the old invoices i have for my Xj6, i did a search on Street View for one of the previous owners address, went back in time and it was parked outside his house in 2008.

My old 90 which I sold in 2016, no led tail lights or side windows on it at this point so I reckon 2014 ish. And 300 miles from home.

At one point on Streetview, my Dads car was outside my house, their house, my Sisters house, my brothers house and his place of work (2015-2017 Streetviews).

He also got featured in one further camera image. But we don't talk about that. The first rule of "Got caught speeding club is.......".



My vehicle followed a google car through a local town and I was hoping for a number of images of my car being in the next update so was pulling as many faces as possible but when the google car passed two of the the local bus stops and a chippy all the Chavs mooned and Vee'd - including a hirstue Chavette who ironically could really have done with help from the rhyming Gillette, I never worked out why Google didn't add this enhanced add feature onto Streetview.

I guessed they blanked that and re-ran that section as I never saw my car or said Chavettes furry backburger again.

3 of ours are there over the years, plus my wife and kids waiting to cross the road as the Google car went past and daughter and her friend on their scooters a few years earlier - all blurred but obvious who they are. if you know them.

Yup. The current view is from about 2007 and shows my Alfa 75 in the driveway.

I followed the camera car through town about 3 years ago and was happy to see myself on Streetview.

My only regret about selling my 1 owner Sierra is not checking street view and Google Earth archives to see if the car was there 10-20 years ago

Some random chap hanging around next to my old wagon. I sold it after moving to the US so this is at least 2 years old. I wonder how often they update the streetview data

Edit: I just noticed there's an "image captured on" date on Streetview so April 2018. I only bought the car in April so it'll only have been a few days new for me. Great little car!

My car, and a previous one, are just about visible in my work car park, seems the Google car goes by roughly once a year/18 months.

My wife's appears on the drive outside our house, seems they only go down our road once every 10 years.

In a single frame of a road just round the corner of my house, you can see me driving past in my old car on my way to my old job in 2009. I remember noticing the car and wondering if it had snapped me.

Just Incase you don’t know if you use street view on google chrome and the car has passed your house more than once you can usually change the year and view the image from the different times.

True first world Pistonheaders problem but my cars have either been new or the previous owners lived in private roads so no fun for me.

Just checked and Google have not been in my current road for over ten years but I can see the Aston, BMW and Evoque on the satellite view so that mush be about a year old.

On the desktop street view you can change the date, our house was snapped the day we moved in, removal vans there!

Street view hasnt been updated in 11/years for me , so I can still see the shed puma I had for three or less months. Ffs.
