Multi Car Insurance
Discussion
I'm with Admiral, and they have mirrored my NCB on my two cars.
From what I recall, they didn't offer this automatically, I had to ask them to. I think I quoted this webpage when I did:

Are there any insurers that will let you have your ncb on more than one car? My current insurer will only give me my ncb on one car, and expect me to accrue a separate ncb for a second car. What a con :-(
Why is it a con? If you had had 2 cars claim free for 5 years, and had accrued max ncb on both, you wouldn't expect to lose your bonus on both if you made a claim on one. TwigtheWonderkid said:

It works the other way; Mrs D has been a named driver on my cars for years, when she had a prang in her car it pushed my premiums up as well as her own. They didn't strike years off my NCB but they pushed the cost up nonetheless, for a claim by a named driver who was in another car.
I know, financial services industry in "trying to maximise profits" shocker

Admiral were really keen to sell me a multicar policy. They wanted to sync the start dates of the policy for the two cars (is that normal?) so sold me a 30-day policy for my Maserati. After the discount, the cost of this policy was negative 50 pounds. They actually paid me money for the privilege of insuring my car!
I now need to actually buy the multi-car policy and it looks like Esure and Admiral cost pretty much the same.
Is there any difference between them? I do the occasional track day and have written permission from Admiral saying this is okay. Would Esure be okay with trackdays?
