What have you seen being raced... that amazed you or made you laugh.

Those old blue disability cars @ Bovingdon oval.
The destruction derby ended with just a load of guys, basically riding around on a motorised ladder.
One hot rodder cheated though... he put wide wheels & slicks on the rear.
( Don’t know why only the rears).

They wanted to race electric milk floats... but was deemed too dangerous because of the battery risks. ( old type)

when I did the Britcar 24hr races a while back there was a team from NL(?) that drove over in an old 560 SEC - did the race in it - and drove home.

Trek cart races when I was a scout. 5 to team, 2 pushing, 2 pulling + a passenger.

I remember breaking a wheel on a tree root.

Later in a warehouse pallet truck racing was a thing.

Rally cars come in all shapes and sizes, and I have a real soft spot for unusual or unlikely machines out on the stages. Discoveries and Defender 110s always looked pretty cool powering around the forest on my local rally.

I didn't see it personally but sure there was someone who rallied a Roller back in the day.

Weirdest thing i've ever witnessed being raced was a bunch of nutters on bar stool racers. Absolutely mental and damn dangerous too

Lotus elise s1 (I think) at a rallycross at knockhill a few years ago, it was flying too.
