I realise that - I’m trying to locate someone as executor of a will who when my father died immediately stopped payments to his estate
I believe he moved to Hertfordshire but I need an address to serve a summons for the outstanding debt he left
I’ve located his vehicle and completed the v888 form but this is likely to take several months
I have his vehicle index and a search reveals the mot was done yesterday
If I know where the mot was done I can make further enqs in the right area

They stopped being able to get the station location a while back. Can't recall the reason given.

Bundled within the GDPR changes. Probaby not helped by people (quite a few on here based on the number of times it used to be suggested) that used to use the online checker to locate the MOT station / garage and then make contact with them in the hope they'd pass on the location of a car they want to buy, an old car they want to buy back, a reg plate they want to buy, etc, etc. In any case it's no guarantee the person / car is in the area of the MOT station anyway - 2 of my cars get MOT'd by specialists that are over 50 miles away from where i actually live.

As someone who has also been an executor of a will, this is the sort of thing that would need to be dealt with via proper channels (V888) and ideally via the solicitor acting for the executor / estate rather than random people on a car forum.
