Driving gloves???

Hi all,

Does anyone wear driving gloves these days? I quite fancy some but there seems to be 2 ends of the spectrum in terms of cost. It's mainly because I don't want my alcantara wheel to end up all grubby and sticky etc.

My Wife does, she's only 30. She is a redhead so has no ability to produce body heat so she wears them so her hand's don't get too cold.

OP, if you're trying to flush out which PH'ers are serial killers, you'd be much better off perusing some of the NPE threads. There's a good dozen or so of the 'regulars' in there who fit the profile.

Having said that, these ones look up to the job - they would appear to offer protection from cable tie cuts as well as good wipe clean properties.

I wear gloves in winter with the roof down. The car had a thinnish wooden Moto Lita steering wheel with smooth gloss lacquer finish so gloves for both grip and warmth. I swopped it for a leather Moto Lita so grip was better but still cold in winter.
I wear winter golf gloves ( lightweight leather) or insulated if very cold.

I used to know a couple of very elderly chaps who wore gloves. Probably aged about 80.
I think they gave up with them as they seemed old fashioned......

I think you'll find the correct term for plural Lexus is Lexuses.
