Due to separation I recently had to let go of a bayside R34 GTR Vspec II and Chimaera 450.

I’ve booked the day off work and happens to coincide with my car mad autistic sons last day of school. I thought it be nice to rent a car for 36/48hrs. Needs to have rear seats but whoever draws the short straw can make do with whatever room is afforded.

I briefly looked at Hertz at a R35 but they’re after bonkers money.

Anyone know of any reasonable rental outfits in the Surrey/Hampshire area?

Thanks..

You could always buy a car from Cazoo, which includes a week's drive-away insurance. If you don't like it, you could return it within 7 days. If you were to put more than 250 miles on the car, every additional mile thereafter that would cost you £1 per mile.

I'm not suggesting that you do the above, but plenty have.

I'd look at hiring a Morgan, I think you can rent them direct from the factory but there's also specialist companies around the country that have those and similar cars..

Probably have more fun zipping around in something like that than an R35 on our roads..
