'Be patient, I'm lowered'
Discussion
Now seen two cars sporting this sticker in their rear windscreen.
Seeing as they chose to incapacitate their car and deliberately hold others up, wouldn't it be a bit more civilised to have one's sticker be an apology rather than a demand that everyone they hold up be patient?
It doesn't bother me getting stuck behind some plonker who's disabled himself. We've all probably done daft things to our cars in the past but instructing everyone to be patient just seems to be a bit of a self centred, dick move?

Same with the "I can't drive any faster, I've got a black box" stickers.
Only slightly less dickish than "Powered by fairycakes"
Not sure the first one would bother me unless they were driving really badly. The second one is beneficial as it warms you the driver is low IQ and probably paying more attention to chocolate or Facebook? Only slightly less dickish than "Powered by fairycakes"

I often get stuck behind a modified Nissan GT-R in the industrial estate where I work. It slows to a near stop for speed bumps and the driver always goes over them at a weird angle. I always seem to end up stuck behind the sodding thing if I'm running late.
If it's clear to do so, I tend to overtake it. I don't even have to slow down for the speed bumps in my car. Not sure what kind of power his car has, but my old Peugeot's a lot quicker!

I go slow over speed humps in the Caterham and Elise as I don't want to scrape them and so unfortunately people will have to either overtake or wait behind.
Plenty of people are happy to smash their cars over speedhumps and barely slow down, something I don't do irrespective of what I am driving. It is those people who often get irate so guess the stickers are aimed at those types...

These particular stickers are on cars that couldn't get over a speed bump as opposed to our type of cars where we have to slow right down. It doesn't seem to be about sports cars but cars crippled so badly that they can't drive on the road at a safe speed.

I'd love to be a pedantic traffic cop.
Pull them over and ask if their mods are declared then see them squirm when you ask them which company they're with so you can confirm.
And then feel stupid when their insurance confirms they are indeed legal. Any idea how much suspension mods load your insurance? Pull them over and ask if their mods are declared then see them squirm when you ask them which company they're with so you can confirm.

Round here, traffic likes to check lowered cars insurance before they pull you, it's a game to act like they have no idea to see if your honest or not.

Any idea how much suspension mods load your insurance?Think when I declared lowered & remap on Audi TT Quattro it was a fair whack of an already blatantly overinflated premium at the time, perhaps 25% but you can hunt specialist brokers and join the car clubs/forums to basically get them for next to nothing.

I got overtaken near my parents, was going sensibly over the speed humps and a lady in an Audi A3 goes steaming past launching her car over them, car was newly new.
One careful owner…
In fairness it’s a good overtake opportunity , which i’ve used, if ‘sensibly’ is 10 mph…One careful owner…
Don’t need to slow much in my Skoda.
