Others have written about all sorts of problems with dealing with DVLA and long delays to receive paperwork etc .
This week I transferred my reg number online at 13-10pm on Monday. I had a slight problem with a pop up about my email not being legal this is just a glitch within their system.
The new V5 has just dropped through the door.
Pretty good going by DVLA.

Online services are fine. Its anything that involves a physical person in Swansea that they are useless at.

Bought a new car in January. Dealer mistakenly registered it to our old address. It's taken me til July to get the DVLA to correct it.

I received a letter from the DVLA on Thursday requesting that I renew my photo licence.

I did this online on Friday morning and received my new licence in yesterday's post.

Still waiting for a VED refund from April. Couldn't do it online as it would accept my V5 number for some annoying reason, so had to claim by post. I've received a compliment slip saying I don't own the old car anymore, but no VED refund yet.

New V5 for the new car came quick, but I'd really like my 60 quid back...

I could call them, but guess that would just make me more annoyed.

I moved house recently and did a change of address for two V5s and my driving licence online.

The new documents arrived in 3 working days!
