As per the title, any ideas?

The rods are about 15cm long. The photo was sent to me by my brother in law who is quite concerned! My guess is that they were in the road and he drove over them. He's pretty sure they weren't already there though...

Fallen off scrap man's tipper, 3 glow plugs? 4 dowty seals , a piece of bent coat hanger and a nut and bolt. Lucky he didn't have to get new tyres

You could be correct as it is such a random mix!

Are they just the centre of glow plugs? I thought they a were a bit bulkier.

They’re very long for glow plugs, and usually the tip isn’t threaded / covered like those.
Not sure what else they could be, but I’ve not seen glow plugs like those before. smile

I think I can confidently say they are bugger all to be worried about. Chances of that lot coming off a Honda at the same time are incredibly remote, even if they had at some point in the distant past ever been connected to a Honda in the first place.

I think I'd be more worried about owning a 2009 Honda CRV in the first place, never mind what your BIL thinks may have fallen off it! smile

I agree, and now in reflection find it hilarious that he was scrabbling around in the dark for bits that might have fallen off his car after hearing strange noise - made by by driving over the bits in the first place!

Fair play! It's 2.0 petrol as well so not even got the bonus of the 2.2's torque.
