Probably not qualified to comment as I've driven none of them but from the spec sheet:
The allroad on air sus with small/regular wheels please!

RS6 and BiTDI come with a ZF8 tranny as opposed to DSG on the S6.
I hear some of the BiTDI's had an optional LSD, but not sure if it that was available on the allroad as well.

A map on the BiTDI goes from 313hp/650Nm to 350hp/720Nm. The later 320hp go to 390hp/780Nm stage one (with the DPF still in).
The only thing you're going to miss is the sound and the stance/looks of the S/RS-models. But then you won't have to worry wether the car will still be there in the morning.

If they're ropey lanes, an Audi of any sort might be hard work. They do lean towards the firm side, moreso as you go up the performance tree.

Forgive me for not know my 'C' numbers, but the C7 S6 is the V8 TT yes? 400bhp or so?

Neighbour has one, lovely car. Real Q Car status without the overtly show-y bulges of the RS, nice subtle but evident V8 waffle from the exhaust and a really solid looking car.

I'd imagine its ridiculously unable as well as a twin turbo 4.0 V8 if that's your thing.

At £30k, that is where my money would go.

I'd agree. Although I ended up with a 340i estate a few years ago, I test drove the RS6 and S6. The RS6 was just unnecessarily fast for general duties and the price over the S6 didn't feel justified. The S6 estate was excellent and more than enough poke along with being more subtle.

Pulling up at a dog walking venue in an RS6 is probably going to give the impression of someone turning up a few hours too early for a drug deal. biggrin

Plot thickens on the S6 - I noticed it hadn't been serviced between 2017 and 2022. The dealer says this is because it was a police owned car and serviced in house. It's just had 21H7 recall too - which all S6 and some other Audi models had. Something to do with the oil filter clogging which could effect the turbochargers. Worth a look or run for the hills?

So caned everyday for 5 years. No thanks. Ex plod cars are probably the last car I’d every buy. Similar to getting involved with an ex smack head prostitute. Just avoid.

Run for the hills. If it's ex-Plod it should be well under market rate. It isn't.
