I need some useful/creative suggestions please. I have (quite a lot of) car magazines going back some 40 years plus. It seems a dreadful waste to take them to the tip, can anyone suggest a good cause, a library where others may enjoy them and understand a little of life was like in the old days when I was a youth?

Noy sure a library would take mags, but what about https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/ they might go to a collector?

What magazines and where are you? My Autocar collection is missing a chunk around 2006-2009 thanks to a storage issue involving a leaky pipe...

If my wife hears of this I will deny it.

Maybe donate to a hospice/care-home or similar?

That's a nice idea. My father is in a care home with Alzheimer's and whilst he can't remember what he had for lunch he does enjoy material of an age he can remember.

I’d be interested in certain issues of CAR from 1989 and earlier.

Could you please list what you have?

My mate was in a similar position with mid 1980s car mags.

I've been selling them on eBay at £5.00 each UK postage paid. Nets about £2 a pop. It's been a lot of work over a few years, so not a quick fix hehe

Gentlemen, thank you all for your suggestions, much appreciated. Unfortunately, I can't list what I've got - there's too many! I don't have the space to spread them out and catalogue them.
Titles include Hot Rod magazine, Cars and Car Conversions, Autocar, Motor, Classic Cars, Car, and many more....
Again, thanks for the input, I'll cogitate some more.
