Renault Scenic drivers door not opening

Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help. My friends Renault 2012 Scenics drivers door won’t open from the inside or outside.
I replaced all the battery’s in the 2 key fobs and the car looks like it’s doing what it should so lights flash all the other doors unlock and lock !
Checked for fuse issues and nothing.
Battery was at 12.8v but also disconnected it to reset the system.
No faults when you turn the car on, I have Carista but it only does very basic diagnostics with Renault
Done loads of googling which hint at a deadlock problem but no real answers.
Any help would be really appreciated I’m not a mechanic but quite handy.
