Car prices, Recession, Crisis, Correction

Prices have been inflated pretty much since covid began. Inflation is high as are good prices, fuel and energy. Interest rates are on the up.
I hear that hard Financial times are coming. But i see no sign of car prices dipping at all.

Has anyone actually seen any real change as yet? Are is it case of sellers refusing to blink?

I was looking at an M4 Comp a couple of weeks ago - it was up at £39k, BMW AUC and I was offered £2k off it before I'd really even opened my mouth. I didn't go for it in the end as I suspect there might well be some better deals to be had next year.
