Car Insurance Yearly Merry Go Round

Last November I insured through a multicar policy 3 cars, one my teenager 1st time driver, 2 and 3 wife and mine experienced drivers with years of NCB against our driving history. Last year got the 3 cars for a good price teenager made up 2 thirds of the total cost. Skip forward to renewal due in 2 weeks, policy costs have gone up by nearly £600 against last years price, teenagers cost dropped by a 3rd on last years premium, wife's gone up by a 3rd and mine doubled! No claims made, no endorsements or fines from any of us, insurers comment on querying " well you and your wife drive BMW's and we are seeing a lot of projected claims industry wide" In closing left the teenager with them so she can build up some kind of history, moved mine and the wifes car to another insurer, managed to get both cars fully comprehensive for less than the price of my renewal quote! I know this happens every year and we all look for the best value for money but it really p****s me off!

It annoys me too - most years I have to change insurer whenever a renewal comes up. And I seem to have the same problem every time my breakdown cover needs renewing.

I've never had multi-car cover because each time I have got a decent quote for one car the price for the other one is a joke!
