Good morning,
I am looking at a used Porsche, ca 15 yrs old with multiple number plate changes (A - B - A - B - A - C - A) and now on a private plate. Seller says bought like this and the private plate is in the log book.
I read this could be done to hide the vehicle:
Does anyone know how this works? How can the car be successfully registered if sth. is wrong?
Many thanks,
S

Mine probably look a bit like that, I have 3 very similar plates, 2 that match better than the 3rd so they go on my two favourite most used cars. So they get swapped a bit, maybe on a yearly or so basis. I wouldn't worry too much personally.

A car like a Porsche is going to have multiple plates, it’s the nature of the car.

Mrs DSs SLK - 2 owners. 3 plates.

My SL looks even worse - 6 owners including myself and a similar number of plate changes - only when you actually look into it the first four were the same two members of a family at the same address.

Some cars are almost 100% likely to have a different plate with every RK.
