Will fitting a tow bar affect warranty?

Provided the specific car model has type approval to tow, beware, some electric and hybrid models do not, it cannot affect the warranty. Expect £6-900 in the aftermarket for fully fitted with electrics.
^This. Is the car homologated for a towbar? Easiest way to find out is to ask Audi or look at the options list/accessories brochure. It may state that the towbar is only for petrol/diesel and not hybrids.

It is as we speak, in the Audi centre for a MMI / screen fault (currently showing NFF
) so I shall ask when I go to pick it up. Oh, and it's a company car just to add to the drama! Had I knows, I'd have chosen as a factory option. For a small trailer for my lads Kart.

Or look on the door sticker with the weights on it then you know it is correct for your actual car. Is the car homologated for a towbar? Easiest way to find out is to ask Audi or look at the options list/accessories brochure. It may state that the towbar is only for petrol/diesel and not hybrids.
