-45C I think. This was in my Alfa Romeo in early summer. It started behaving itself after I disconnected the big multi-plug to the passenger door and gave it a good squirt of contact cleaner.

One for the "They all do that, sir" file.

Are we talking recently?

Hampshire, -1

We haven’t even had any drizzle or sleet, let alone snow. There wasn’t even a frost this morning.

By comparison the lowest I've seen is a pretty balmy -5.5°c in Northumberland.

Edit, actually I've since seen -7, which is cold enough for me.

I have seen -30 on the car before now, it was so cold that the radio shut down and refused to come back till we got the interior temp warmer (gotta love Canadian winters).

Going the opposite way, my MK5 Golf once gave me a temperature of +52 Deg C in balmy Worksop as I left work. That soon corrected itself thankfully.

Where I live, NW London, -3 this week.

The lowest I've ever seen in a car was -20 on the A701 between Edinburgh and Moffat back in the mid 90's. 94 or 95 IIRC.

-15.5 about 2010 as I drove through the dip on the M4 before you rise up to the Bath junction.

I guess the cold air must of been sitting in the hollow for it to get that cold.

-13 on the A10 towards Royston.

It was in the 2009 / 2010 freeze. Have the photo on an old phone somewhere, will try and dig it out.
