Pretty much as per the title, 12 years in the making (i believe), street legal Ford GT does 310.8mph

Looks like it could do some more but needs a longer runway

Bugatti did this with a type approved car on normal petrol and without needing a drag chute so I'm a bit underwhelmed.

I'm sure it's impressive but why is it a 33 minute video? Surely you just need a few minutes to explain the car and then another, well what, 30 seconds to get to 310.8mph?

An overly long video because of youtube sponsors and partners etc isn't something I'll watch.

I know the new generation love the shorts that last 30 seconds, but there's got to be a halfway point.

So if I built a rocket and successfully landed on the moon, then came home and made a video about it, you would say that NASA did this already so you are underwhelmed? Fair enough.

I haven't watched the video as I don't currently have 30 mins spare, but 300mph+ in a modified Ford seems impressive.

Grabbing your next gear at 260mph must be quite the experience!

Unsurprising it’s a ford gt, everytime you see a modified one on YouTube they are always brutally fast.

By the time the GT hits 310 the Bugatti is still thinking about what the 260 part

Bugatti has a massive test track at their disposal. This wouldn't need a parachute if it had that.

Also, this car did over 310mph was still pulling. The Bugatti was flat out.

If you look at how slowly the Bugatti is accelerating at 285mph compared to the GT, the difference is significant: https://youtu.be/FuS_bXJNync?t=123

I'd love to know what you drive if the idea of a 300mph street car leaves you underwhelmed. Sadly, your profile gives no clue.

Fly to the 20 minute mark, or 20:20 if that impatient.

That thing bloody shifts but whoever put the music over the top of it going through the gears wants shot.
