Hi there, I'm asking on behalf of a friend if anyone knows a specialist body shop that supplies and fits the lambo style door conversion?
Ideally located somewhere in Lancashire, Midlands or Yorkshire area

Cheers

You're 12 years too late, sadly. Max Power magazine ceased publication in 2011.

Might just be easier for "your friend" to drop his suspension as far as possible and write a shopping list on the front wing to re-live the glory days of ste car modifications.

Not exactly yorkshire but Peugeot Eccose used to do them back in the day. Might be a good place to start your search.

Echo that - there are quite a few kits for sale these days, which I didn't expect!

The only place I know where you can get this done is quite a long way away. Approximately 2004, I think.

I love seeing, and rather would, a young lad / girl going about in a bodykitted car with lambo doors that they have brought and spent money on modifying them selfs.

Thankfully neons and the 90’s style is on the rise.

Give me that anytime rather than the typical throbber in there leased M, RS, ST, AMG, R, cars who only slip on a £300 pop and bang map.

Its an 18 plate Mustang GT he is struggling to find anywhere reputable with this sort of mod to do it, so offered to reach out on here

Haha! Definitely! Was it a big job or would a regular car body shop be trustworthy with the job

This. All day long!

Knew I’d seen one recently:

This is currently on eBay - says who the kit was fitted by…

Well he talked it up a bit but tbh I reckon anyone could’ve done it really. Main thing is it looks the part when you swing those doors open thumbup

Is it just me, or does the Mustang pic show the doors completely blocking the opening, and thus preventing ingress?
Hard to imagine the thought process of somebody wanting to do this "mod".

biglaugh

OP, as it's a Mustang, if the outfit in the ad a few posts up can't do it, I bet that a purveyor of tasteless tat in the States will supply the parts too. Look for YouTube videos filmed in Florida by someone in a baseball cap who uses phrases like "it's yer boi".

Not a one man job but can’t see it being a hard job. May just take a few trikes getting the alignment spot on. Will be loads of tips on YouTube.

Do you think they'd fit on an Alegro?

(I have mobility issues.)
If you mean “Allegro” I wouldn’t bother. Just cut the old hinges off and rivet one of these to the top and roof. Had heavier kebabs.
