Does anyone remember a company called Star Custom Vehicles at Ampthill, Bedfordshire? They did conversions on both cars and vans Trying to make contact with anyone who worked there in the 1980s
I am trying to find out more about what was perhaps a one-off styling exercise that Star did on the Austin Maestro called the 'Silver Miracle' circa 1983/4
If you’re not in a rush I sometimes see one of the old painters there but it could be a few weeks or longer before I bump into him again. He was there quite a while, did lots of the vans, some 260/280 Datsuns and an Allegro amongst others.
