Just been out and about and travelled on the m27 and it seems to be very quiet out there today considering the time of year, and motoring journalists saying that this weekend was going to be the busiest since pre pandemic.

Are people getting away to foreign lands more so this year?

Cost of living maybe?

I've just completed a 200 mile trip, Aberdeen>Glenshee>Kirriemuir>Cairn o Mount>Aberdeen here in Nort East Scotland and the roads were pretty busy, bikers everywhere, too.

Business as usual now that the weather is decent! :-)

M5/M6 northbound was busy yesterday, lots of stopping for congestion! It is bank holiday weekend so lots of people on the road yesterday and Monday but mostly at destinations over the weekend.

Wow, now that is quite impressive.

But surely, once you get to that size, it must be worth investing a little extra in a proper motor home?

But then you lose the versatility of having a car when at the campsite.

Yeah, I'm in that sort of area this weekend, it is unusually quiet here today.
