Looks like an Audi wheel to me but no idea on the model - looks like a large wreckage though!

Certainly an Audi looking at the wheel and placement of the engine, I'd say an A5 although the rear is to high for a coupe

I think the answer to the OP's question is

on finance.

often on double yellow lines or school zigzags.

about four inches from your rear bumper.

An Audi, made from Aluminium.

A good few years back, there was an article in the local paper about an Audi A2 that had been dumped and set a light that was involved in some crime. The police were appealing for people in the area, asking if anyone had seen a car that has been cut up/ dismantled, prior to being set a light. Obviously, the car had not been dismantled, but the heat had caused the aluminium to melt leaving just a chassis. I thought this wild goose chase was rather amusing.

I think you'll find it burns rather than melts if you get it hot enough.

So i found the article from 2016, obviously being 7 years ago, my account slightly differs from what actually happened, it was the fire service who thought the car had been dismantled.

Am i right in thinking that the aluminium had "burnt" away and the car had not actually been dismantled? I may be completely wrong.

That seems correct. Here's an F-Pace, 80% aluminium.
