Road fund refund

10 weeks ago I sold a car that I had just taxed, C. £250. Received the acknowledgement that I was no longer the keeper 9 weeks ago. Never had the refund so last week I filled out the online enquiry form, now had a reply saying they will pass my query on to the refunds department which may take up to 6 weeks! Not impressed.

Don’t worry you’ve only lost about £50 after they’ve had their admin charges.
