My 911 targa 4 gts has a lot of badging on the back. Currently it says ‘Porsche 911 targa 4 gts’. Is it just me who thinks that is a bit cluttered? I’m thinking of removing the ‘Porsche ‘ lettering and the ‘targa 4 ‘ lettering and just having ‘911 gts’.
Anyone agree ? I don’t want to have the ear end completely badgeless and I think ‘911 gts’ would look nice in black.
Ok - shoot me down !!

Id leave the PORSCHE on and take off the 911 model stuff, or take it all off.

I’m leaning towards just ‘gts’

Do it bit by bit to see what you like.

My daughter knows some Polish guys with wet sponges who took that approach with her Evoque. laugh

I must be odd, I remove badges from all my cars.

20 years ago BMW charged £30 to 'badge delete' and Audi 10 years ago wanted £100, a hair dryer and some Play Doh cutlery makes it clean at the back without badges.

I always used to remove all the badges from my older cars

I don't do it now because the absence of badges on a newer car has people thinking it may have been repaired cheaply but at some stage, they'll come off

It’s a lot easier to clean with fewer badges too . .

Good post. When The Beastie Boys were a thing they stole VW badges, the roundel. Work colleague had a Polo, badge was ‘ liberated’ twice. So, from the scrapyard,as main dealer badge price was nearly as much as an entire car, avoiding assault by two Alsatians and trying unsuccessfully not to leer at pornographic calendars,, he obtained a Cortina badge which he attached to the boring Polo with coat hanger wire. When that also went, he mounted a rubber duck on it.

There is a Karl Gyles cartoon depicting a Sunday morning washer hosing a ( disguised) Vauxhall Victor Super. As he hoses the ‘Super’ badge, it flies away. Lovely.

First thing that I do when I buy a car is remove as many badges as possible, makes it far easier to clean. Anyone who knows or cares what the badges mean don't need the badges there, and anyone else doesn't matter.

I say just add an M badge to it hehe

I'd certainly say that's over-badged! I think I'd probably remove everything, or just leave the PORSCHE.

I think it would look quite good if it just said 911GTS but you'd obviously have to remove all the badges and reposition.

No need to leave Porsche! It’s one of depressingly few cars that the public can now recognise.

I always remove the stick on name etc, plus remove any dealership stuff in windows or on the plates.
On my Skoda Superb!

Id likely ditch the 911 targa etc etc and just leave porsche. Or maybe get rid of it all.
