Anyone used them? Are they good?

Looking at hiring the AMG GTR Black series for my 40th, they seem on the face of it to be one of the better ones, 2 people on insurance as standard, 200 miles a day and free delivery. The prices seem very reasonable too, £650 for the day, which seems very good value?

Am u missing something?

I rent supercars every once in a while, have dealt with 3 companies so far. Not this one though. It does look too good to be true to be honest.

Google their reviews. And if you do contact them, ask if deposit can be paid on credit card and not by bank transfer.

Let us know you it went for you please. I‘m curious myself.

In general ( not a comment on this firm) beware of alleged faults when you return the car…small scrape or dent etc. There was a serious documentary TV programme on this a while ago, unhelpfully I can’t remember the producer or channel.

Their pricing is all over the place and they apparently have one of the new tvrs in stock. No way would a company have access to that many supercars (must be 1000 listed?) So I'd suspect it's fake

It seems from the reviews that you have to send them the full cost of the rental plus the deposit by bank transfer, in advance of the hire.

By contrast, when I rented a 570S from Shrewsbury the deposit was done as a 'hold' on my credit card when I actually collected the car from them.

The latter would seem to me to be how reasonable supercar hire companies would operate.

Yeah, fair enough, I wouldn't be transferring anything to anyone lol.

Ah that's a shame as going through the website it does seem the pricing is all over the place and cheap. £375 for a Nissan GTR

Like I said earlier, OP needs to beware of companies that insist on bank transfer and won‘t accept credit cards. This one seems to operate that way, so that, together with the impossibly long list of cars supposedly in stock, is a major red flag.

On the other hand, I can confirm I‘m another happy customer of the Sports Hire company in Shrewsbury. I had lots of fun in North wales in their Exige and 570s.
No hidden charges, super friendly service and deposit was a hold on the credit card, no funny business with bank transfers.
