The other day I felt like a bit of a drive. With that in mind, I loaded the wife and kids into the car and off we went. If anyone is interested in a bit of a different timelapse:

Thanks for that, I enjoyed watching it, but in America you call that a short drive, here in the UK we call it a holiday!!

This was our return journey

(I don't know why YT chose a bridge for this thumbnail too!)

Love videos like this. Very cool. Can I ask where the start point and end point was please. How many miles and how long did it take. ?

Of course - we left Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and went to Lake Country in Canada. Lake Country is in the Okanagan region and close to Kelowna. A remarkably cool city and incredible scenery - tbh it was pretty spectacular for most of our route.

It was 270 miles there and about 300 miles back. It took us just under 7 hours there and 7.5 hours back. That included multiple stops for kids bathroom breaks, leg stretching, feeds etc. I think I could have done the outward journey well under 6 hours if I was doing it on my own.

I like that drive. Friends went to uni of Idaho and uni of Washington in Moscow and Spokane respectively.

Thank you. Appreciate it, sounds like a good trek. I find videos and like this so interesting, and then I love looking on google maps at the journey. So weird but I’m interested in geography like that.
