Not sure if I’ve misheard something, but is the balloon payment at the end of a pcp deal negotiable at all?
Got another year on mine and still quite happy with the car especially seen as the cost to get a newer similar one with interest rates etc will be too expensive. So thinking about keeping it and I’m sure I read somewhere that someone negotiated the balloon payment. Could be wrong and probably am but has anyone ever done it?

the balloon payment is in no way negotiable.

It is the outstanding balance owed from the finance youve taken.

The only thing negotiable is the price of the car itself should you sell it (px it). Typically this should be higher then the value of the balloon payment

CHeck the balloon payment against the car value on WBAC or similar. When my pcp was up,wbac paid 3k more than the balloon. Sold it and pocketed the difference.

I had a car on PCP a few years ago, the document said the final figure would be 16,000. When the letter arrived it was only 11,000 so I snatched their hand off and bought it, sold it to a performance car specialist for 15,000 a few months later.
