I have an outdoor Carcoon that has perished from the sun and now has a number of splits in it. Ideally the outer fabric needs replacing and the Carcoon website states: "Carcoon is designed to enable the outer skin to be replaced when it eventually becomes necessary."

However they don't seem to answer the phone or respond to emails. Has anyone had any luck with them getting a Carcoon recovered, or found anyone that offers a similar service?

No specific ideas but an automotive upholstery shop would be able to sort something for you I'd imagine?

Carcoon service seems to be terrible, I think they have more orders than they can fulfill.

I doubt it. The fabric seems to be quite specific, and the outdoor carcoon is quite complex, partially attached to the inner, partially separate, all attached to a thick plasticised base

The outer fabric is a very lightweight reflective and waterproof material. I wonder where else it might be used or if it's available off the shelf from somewhere.

I notice on the Demon Tweeks website which sells Carcoons it states they have none in stock and to expect despatch in 60+ days so clearly supply is an issue.

Have you thought about a sail maker?

They make boat covers

I can personally vouch for Dolphin Sails
