As title, heard something on the radio earlier today and it got me thinking.... I can't remember the last time I saw a rubber strap hanging from a car scratchchin

Anything else that appears to have long gone that was a regular spot?

Furry dice hanging on the rear view mirror.

A sickly-smelling Feu Orange traffic light air freshener hanging off the steering column stalks or choke knob.

There's a new electronic version of that these days. It's very, er, handy and can be configured to raise or lower the fingers in a specific order. biggrin

Aftermarket fog/driving lamps seem very much to have disappeared- mind you there’s not really anywhere to attach them nowadays.

Some were, and you’d twist the knob to lock it. This is what failed, hence the peg.

Yesterday. Corolla Verso.

Decals laid out like a shopping list down the edge of the door for brands whose parts weren't fitted to the car.

That vinyl interior has to belong to a Volvo 240 estate going by the dreadful window alignment!

A boot rack, a trailer, one of those aftermarket third brake lights screwed to the rear parcel shelf, the bonnet mounted side mirror, external parking mirrors stuck to the rear window, automatic retracting aerials.. .
