I've often past this house and wondered if the owner bought the car to match the house.

Anyone else have an example of a car that matches their house?

O/T I dislike those glass monstrosities on the front of these posh new builds.

Is the house going to get bought out by General Motors?

My missus loves snooping round houses for sale on the internet. She showed me this glorious retro 70s place quite recently, proper time warp stuff and in one of the exterior photos there was a silver early 80s Mercedes W123 parked outside. It just looked so right. Could just imagine the swinging parties going on a few years ago. Can’t remember if there was any pampas grass outside though.

The windscreen? We've come a long way since the Stutz Bearcat!

My old boss bought an E70 X5 in that light green they did because it matched the greensand stone of his house

The house is basically a Vauxhall Cavalier underneath?

This is PH. Surely the house matches the car?

If it’s one of those usual identikit faux heritage houses that you get absolutely everywhere regardless of local character then it would need to be a Rover 75.

Am I doing this right?

I used to drive past a Defender that looked as if it had been painted in the leftover paint from the house.

I’ve just had a nosey and it is visible on an old Google Streetview photo: https://maps.app.goo.gl/w6qGvGrNWUNpmNUb6?g_st=ic

You are very local to me - there's a CRX on the same side a few houses down.

I was going to say this...

There's a row of new houses near me that have gone up. Identical new build houses, shiny grey kitchens and white floors type thing. Each one has some form of Evoque/Velar, MINI or Audi outside, all sub 3-years old.
