A scam I've not seen before. Horrendously obvious it is not legitimate - DVLA will never contact anyone via email for a start. There are folk out there who wouldn't spot this though, or just panic and click on anything.

No mention of vehicle registration and a very dodgy email address, why would anyone think it was genuine?

When I worked at Sainsburys whilst at uni, we had an old lady in buying a few hundred quids worth of gift vouchers on a Tuesday morning in July. We asked a bit more, she’d been contacted by the council for late payment and was instructed to buy the vouchers and contact them back with the numbers for payment

It's ok, that's just the Mexican DVLA sending from their IPhone, you can probably ignore it! biggrin

The email addresses are always the give away.

Ah, an email from BT, so I click to see the email address it's come from. Oh that's surprising, it's not do-not-reply@bt.com or billing@bt.com etc but instead its from prizo3846@dogmail.cz or some equal nonsense.

Yep, also had this. I suspected it might be a scam, as I don't actually have a car at the moment! laugh
