There's a charity road trip next month called The Italian Job which takes a load of Minis and MINIs across to Italy - the benefitting charity is a children's charity called Buttle UK.

Buttle are entering (or would like to enter) a car, but with multiple drivers sharing the car through the event - they did this back in 2019 and my broker managed to sort them out insurance for that, this year however they're struggling.

So its a 2006 MINI Cooper (R50), with nine drivers including the owner, to be insured for International use (UK, France, Germany, Austria, Italy).

If anyone has any suggestions, or might be able to help, either post below or drop me a PM.

Many thanks in advance,

Jon

speak to John Paddock:

he is very knowledgeable about insurance options and has sorted me out with insurance in the past - he also has experience in this kind of world...
I used to have private client car insurance that allowed any driver any age - would something like that work?

Cheers for that, will pass on the contact...

An any driver policy would work providing it wasn't prohibitively expensive, I know they're hard policies to come by these days.

The issue will be who's name the car is in and who will be the policyholder, also need to confirm the any driver apllies to EUrope, some policies only cover UK territorial limits. RSA used to do alot of this type of risk but they have pulled out o the UK. pc market,

I insured four cars for ten drivers with these guys for a banger rally, but they do all sorts of event insurance.

The car owner and registered keeper will be the main policy holder - he's just letting lots of charity staff use his car on the trip, which is brave of him!

Many thanks folks for the suggestions, I've passed them on to Richard @ Buttle UK and hopefully he gets it sorted thumbup
