Decades past shaking you to your souls core

Just had a random email with pictures of some thing I owned and raced 40 years ago, restored and raced again 12 years ago and then sold under self imposed pressure about 5 years ago.

It has brought back so many memories that I just can't process. Every memory of that machine is good, not one bad experience with it. I remember agreeing to buy it at 18 years old and winning races with it.

I wish I had never been sent the email - it's gone, I need to find acceptance.
