This was no treat I can tell you!

The thing thats annoyed me the most is my dash cam didnt pick it up, it’ll be triggered by a car driving past but not some knob head throwing a brick through my screen

D**kheads, the lot of them.

I had the same with someone walking up the bonnet, stomping through the windscreen, smashing the driver's quarter light and attempting to do the driver's window, too.

That's not "trick or treat". That's plain vandalism. Disgusting behaviour.

When I first saw it I thought you had stuck on some tacky Halloween skull sticker. As said previously, there really are some lowlifes around.

They may have thrown it from aside but looks like two impact points to me, and Dashcam didn't get the lass who scratched my windscreen on multiple nights using her diamond ring upside down, luckily neighbors wall cam overlooking drive did and it was a horrible fat thing that could have been confused for a trick or treater in a costume.

Just looks like one where the brick hits edge-on and rolls between two corners

I think the brick has hit pretty flat hence the 2 impact points, its then bounced off & hit the bonnet on the left of the picture which has also gone down to the metal & left a nice dent too.

The police/101 didnt want to know

Would expect them to give a crime number at the very least, as for turning up, not likely in my experience.

UK can’t get enough of it. US cultural appropriation. Black Friday is another.

In 50 yrs time July 4th and Thanksgiving will be UK celebrations too, despite the incredible irony.

Nothing wrong with the UK celebrating July 4th - dodging a bullet by getting rid of the US, surely... wink

I believe it comes from Ireland and Irish emigrants took it to the US. But, you’re correct in that it spread around the Anglosphere and beyond due to the reach of US culture.

OP, sorry to hear of your windscreen. That’s just shyte.

All that gives you is footage of it happening. The police still won't give a fk, and your £400 CCTV is pointless when they wear a hoody and a 50p mask.

The origins of Halloween go back to Ireland, the UK and part of France.

Hateful tradition imo. I have nothing to do with and don’t open our door that evening.
