I need to pick up a relative from terminal 4 next week who needs assistance so think I need to park up and take a wheelchair in.

I’ve just tried to book into the short term car park but not getting any results, does that mean it’s fully booked or the app is screwed, I tried various dates and it seems there’s no availability, I assume I do need to pre-book?

"You cannot pre-book parking for bookings shorter than 24 hours.

If you wish to use the car park for less than 24 hours, please drive into the car park, take a ticket and pay at one of our pay-on-foot machines"

Given they now extract ridiculous fees for parking for 5 minutes the least british airports can do for those with mobility problems is deliver them to the pick-up area on one of those electric carts with the flashing lights.

As the other poster said, you cannot book short term parking. It is literally like any other car park, just drive in, take a ticket and pay when you leave.

Thanks guys, I did search on the Heathrow website but couldn't find that!

I'd read so many horror stories about picking up and parking I didn't want this to go wrong.
