Car models where the old generation was sold alongside new
Discussion
Inspired by another thread debating the W116 6.9/600 grosser/W126 overlap, I was thinking about car models that have continued alongside the new generation.
A couple that spring to mind are the Range Rover P38 vs. Classic (and it was badged "Classic" as well), Jaguar XJ40 vs XJ12 SIII (although granted you couldn't at that stage get the V12 in the XJ40). BMW also seem to have a habit of keeping touring models alive after the later saloon has been launched (E30 touring vs E36 saloon - the E36 saloon being launched in 1991, and the E30 touring limping on to 1994! Similarly the E39 touring carried on into 2004 when the E60 saloon was launched in 2003)
Any others?

Any others?
-Renault 5 Campus sold alongside the mk1 Clio
-Renault Clio Mk2 Campus sold along the mk3
-Ford Escort Finesse/Flight sold alongside the new Focus.
-Peugeot 206 was sold alongside the 207 in European Markets, with a 207 front end grafted on badged as the 206+
They are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Going back a bit, but wasn't the Metro intended to replace the Mini? And I think that the Volvo 740 should have replaced the 240. SAAB might have had a similar overlap in the 99 and 900 models?
As above Renault definitely did, but I have a feeling that Peugeot did the same with either the 205/206 or maybe 106 and it's replacement?
