Budget off road DIY sports car

With the recent introduction of the Huracan Sterrato and 911 Dakar, what do you think would be the best base for a DIY modification special of the same idea.

Shall we set a base car budget of £10k. Not that I'm going to do it, just musing.....

Seen a thread where someone on here did it with a mk1 (8N) Audi TT (quattro). Lifted, underbody protection. Very cheap, quite capable, some parts are durable like the solid bottom arms. Sump needs a strong guard.
