I need help identifying Make/Model of this car, hit my niece last night. She thought it was a new KIA Sportage but I'm not so sure, rear lights look wrong to me. It's on a 21 plate:

Agreed… Sportage.
Check out the rear view in these pics with the lights on.

New shape Nissan Qashqai or one of the myriad of generic Lexus crossovers?

Don’t think it’s a sportage, light shape looks different

Tried Qashqai and Lexus, doesn't seem to be a match, Sportage seems closest:

Looks like the 2022 one a bit.

The Sportage doesn't have the distinctive kink downwards of the top of the light towards the inside edge of the unit so I'm pretty sure it's not one of them.

It's the low numberplate that is standing out to me, I'm going to be annoyed when I find out what car it is because it's on the tip of my tongue....

The kick on the inside of the lamp could be caused by ‘light trail’ on the photo. The car is moving - look at the number plate streak - it has an edge , as does the rear lamp inside edge at same angle. I think the light is coming to a point like on the 2022 model pictured.

Agreed. Definitely the Kia pictured above

My first thought was a new Kia Sportage. The fact the car is moving has distorted the lights somewhat, but it's still a very distinctive shape.

Agreed, think Krikkit has explained it; numberplate position and number plate lights seem to match '22 Sportage. I've since heard it was '23 plate, not 22. Nobody hurt but shook up.

Thanks for all the help.

Really pleased to hear no one was physically hurt. Hope you can find the driver involved.
