From July 2024 double cab pickup trucks will be treated the same as cars in relation to BIK.
Doesn’t apply to single cab or car derived vans such as defender / disco commercials.
I would imagine that quite a significant proportion of new D/Cab pickup trucks will be purchased by business owners and I see this as a massive upset to the market.
It’s a kick in the balls to farmers too.
It will only apply to vehicles registered after or ordered before July 2024.
I would also imagine a massive disparity in value of vehicles registered either before or after that date.
