And no, I haven't asked my insurer yet as they are closed wink

Anybody had experienced of insuring a car at another location with no registered address ?
By that I mean if you rented a garage in a small compound it won't have a normal address (might have a garage number maybe).

Will it be frowned upon as maybe not frequented much ? Or price hiked up for some other reason ?

Surely it's just parked off road? Not on a driveway and not necessarily in a garage.

I would give them a call tbh because I bet all companies will be slightly different.

Yes I do this with one of my vehicles. Insurer wanted the post code of the garages.

Unless its something a bit rare or valuable then normally the usual storage of on / off street or garaged is all thats needed.

However in recent months my insurance for my classic car has added a garaging clause that the car has to be in my locked garage at the address on my policy between 11pm and 6am unless I am away from home with the car or its in for a service. Or words to that effect.

Some policy wordings will also state something like "to be kept at the policy holders address" or something like that.

I am sure an expert will be along shortly but your best bet is to call an insurance company and verbally confirm it.
