Having had YouTube serve me up Ed Bolian's latest video on the El Chapo McLaren this morning, I've been thinking about other cars which have been made famous for the wrong reasons.

Has that never been found yet? I remember looking at a replica of the car in Coys of Kensington and they had details about the original having never been seen since ( that was around mid 90’s). How do you keep something like that hidden for so long?!

Yep, basically the original 40 RA Carlton was stolen, dumped in a canal, recovered and scrapped, original owner bought another Lotus Carlton and put his 40 RA private reg on the replacement car.

Tedious YouTuber bought one "identical to OJs" and goes on a bad taste tour in it. Does every tedious YouTube tosser in a RR Classic like to think their car is just like this one I wonder
